Qingzhu Lin is a self-taught painter who has lived in the United States for nearly 20 years. Born
in China and raised in a traditional family. When Quingzhi Lin was 5 years old, he was scribbing
on the ground with chalk and drawing in the walls of his house with pencil. At first, his parents
scolded him, but after seeing the work he created, they added a few words of approval. Since
then, they have supported him in developing his talentfor artistic painting and encouraged and
lost time it. Before retiring, Qingzhu Lin worked in a variety of jobs: working in the fields, factory
florr, studying at university and working in a foreign trade company. Busy years pass by like a
fleeting moment.
In the 1980s, he taught hisself English for about 5 years and received a bacgelors degree in
English Literature from Shandong University around 1989. At the same time, he also conducted
a 3_year campus study and obtained a bachelors degree in international trade issued by
Shandong University of Foreigh Trade. During this period, he broadened his mind and built up
his confidence.
Since retiring in 2006, Qingzhu Lin has been creating art in watercolor and oil paintings. In
order to make up for the lost time and realize the value of his life, he tried his best to paint with
all his heart. Although he has experienced many difficulties on this road, artistic creation brings
him more joy.
After years of exploration and practice, his painting style has been established as a perfect
combination of classic realism and modern style. His work mainly involves portraits, figures,
seascapes and landscapes. He pays great attention to detail, highlighting the essence of the
subject and emphasizing pure vivid colors, unique gradations of tones and natural and elegant
shapes and lines.
Qingzhu Lin is an artist on a profound exploration of his own artistic path, fueled by a relentless
love and pursuit of art's true meaning. He believes that art is the embodiment of human beings'
pursuit and expression of beauty, encompassing a vast spectrum of aesthetics. For Qingzhu, a
remarkable work of art is a precise interpretation of beauty that resonates with the desires of
the public, demanding both innate talent and dedicated efforts for its realization.
