March 5 – June 16, 2019 Metropolitan Museum of Art At the Met Fifth Avenue THE TALE OF GENJI A japanese classic illuminated The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Japan Foundation in cooperation with the Tokyo National Museum and Ishiamadera Temple show in Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York about 120 works of art inspired by Japanese famous literary work "The Tale of Genji". Lucio Fontana: On the Threshold January 23-April 14, 2019 At The Met Breuer and The Met Fifth Avenue The Metropolitan Museum of Art is the first in the United States to show an exhibition by Lucio Fontana (1899-1968) for more than forty years. The exhibition shows exceptional examples of the Argentine-Italian artist, who became known through his Cuts series.
